Popping Cake Stand Story

The patented Popping Cake Stand, designed by a baker and her engineer son (Liz Charm and Jordan Long), has a gift pod that hides a surprise in your cake, which pops through at the right moment.
Liz Charm says the idea came to her when she was thinking about fun ways to make her daughter’s 13th birthday party really special. Liz wanted to have the phone inside the cake and make it ring just after her daughter blew out the candles! When the phone began to ring inside the cake, everyone was completely surprised and it was a big hit. Then food safety requirements prevent placing non-edible products inside cakes and so they created the Popping Cake Stand.

Description

Transform any party into a surprise party with the reusable Surprise Cake Popping Stand. Using another tube to remove the center of the cake, you can make any cake (store-bought or homemade!) into a Surprise Cake. The Popping Stand can fit cakes up to 12" in diameter and 6" tall cupcakes.

How It Works

1. Place a gift (cash, a new phone, candies, or other awesome stuff) into the tube in the center of the cake stand.
2. Press the tube down into the launching mechanism.
3. Place the cake onto the stand and use another tube to cut and pick out the center of the cake.
4. Place the pop-up cake surprise mechanism and place your cake platform onto the stand and line up the top of your cake perfectly with the inner-tube.
5. Finish off your cake again to make it just like a normal cake.
6. A little key-ring-type device has located at the bottom of the stand can use to trigger the gift.
